Rosa came to our shelter late in her journey of life – she was not in good shape when she got to us either. But she had the heart of a lion, and there was a lot of fight left in her, for sure. We thought that she only had about 2 months to offer us, but she surprised us with more than 6 – and we were grateful to have them with her.

Rosa was a sweet sweet girl, with the best disposition you can find in a dog. She loved to walk and play, though she was definitely slowing down in her last days. We knew it was time, when she could not be coaxed from her bed and chose instead to nap: that was not the way Rosa would typically handle things.

Though she was not with us long, she definitely left an impression.Thank you Rosa, for touching us.

God bless you, Rosa: and safe travels to wherever your spirit is heading. You were a terriffic dog, right up to the end…we miss you.
